When: 9am – 10 November 2017
Where: The Swissotel, 68 Market Street, Sydney
What: Emma will be running a 2 hour workshop @ LG Innovations and Business Excellence Conf.

The workshop is titled: Creating a Strategy to Enable Innovation and Creativity Flourish in your Organisation.

How can local government become more agile? What problems can be solved if we bring the best and brightest together to brainstorm? What quality outcomes can we produce?

Explore how you can design the way you lead, manage, create and innovate with Emma. Local government professionals from all over the state will come together to experience first hand that successful agile thinking leads to business excellence.

Agile thinking is an approach to problem-solving. Taking big projects and breaking them down into small, deliverable chunks. After each chunk is completed, inspecting it and adjusting from learnings. Agile is working as a team, brainstorming solutions, succeeding as a team and measuring progress to address roadblocks. Agile is striving to deliver more chunks with higher quality and clear value on a frequent, sustainable basis.

LG Innovations and Business Excellence bring together local government industry professionals to exchange and share experiences in all aspects of innovation and best practice. Over the two day conference, they will have a range of presentations, council case studies and panel discussions on the most recent innovations, trends, concerns and practical challenges, and the solutions adopted in the fields of innovation and business excellence.
