An oldy but a goodie and perhaps the best video that describe how spotify has developed a tribe/squad business structure which is firmly embedded into its culture.

What I find most interesting is that the explanation of the tribes, chapter and guilds is relatively simple, followed by the flow of work etc …then BAM! world of complexity (and eye-watering pain) in the autonomous testing and validation.

The interesting part is how the complexity has been moved …from upfront planning and design …aka waterfall, to shifting complexity (and its associated cost) to a point closest to the customer, and in doing, removing huge business risk.
